Betty Watkins, BS, CPC

Bio:

Betty Watkins has 30 years in the fields of optometry and ophthalmology. Her experience has included administration in a private practice with four locations. A COO of a large Retinal practice. For the last 16 years she has worked with ECOC as a Senior Consultant in optometric offices. Prior to working in the optometry field her background was in the medical field of management.

Her specialties include staff training, coding and billing, and insurance compliance. Experience in setting up new practices, and transition purchased practices. Betty has a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Medical Coding Certification.
